Pro Photo Connection

This place is absolute quality in so many ways. I used to use Pro Photo Connection to print my photos, for recreational purposes. It was always such great quality print and paper. I moved a little far from the shop and tried other print shops but didn't find the same quality as I did with this photo shop. So even with the drive, I still print all my photos from this shop. A couple days before Christmas, I needed a special photo printed for one of my gifts. I made a mistake on the order and was very sad to not have the picture I needed for the gift with only two days before Christmas. I could've resorted to another photo shop but I couldn't get over the difference in quality. On top of that, I wasn't planning on going back to Irvine for a while. John was so kind to offer to print the photo first thing in the morning and ship it to me immediately, in hopes that it would get to me before Christmas. And it did! I received a well protected package with my photo the day before Christmas. John went above and beyond to make sure I got what I was looking for. And the print, as always, was such great quality. Thank you Pro Photo Connection and especially John for helping me with this project and making it work!

I've used Pro Photo for a few years for film processing since they're local, and I prefer to drop off and pick up my film physically. They've always been just OK for this purpose, and the customer experience has always been mildly negative. However, the convenience of having access to a local lab has outweighed these issues. Until most recently, I was getting some film processed for one of my clients, and they lost the roll. They returned the correct number of rolls, but one wasn't mine; it belonged to someone else. I urged them to try to fix the issue for months, but every time I called, one month later, two months later, three months later, and four months later, I keep getting the same useless response: "We're working on it." My client is upset, I'm upset, and all they could do was ignore me and string me along whenever I reached out. I never received my roll, never received a refund, and never even received any acknowledgment that they made a mistake. The convenience is no longer worth the steep price for just mediocre film processing, atrocious customer service, and negligence in the lab. If you're looking for other options, I've been using Memphis Film Lab for a few months now and they're doing a better job all around.

This place was amazing! They enlarged my photo in a day which was earlier than the date they gave, with smiles on their face and a great attitude. I will recommend everyone to go here moving forward. And… there is a framing place next door with sweet people there as well. It was a win win win situation and I appreciate them so much!!!! A++++

Easily my favorite film lab in orange county! I've only been to about two other ones but the people here really sold me! They make you feel comfortable and love just to have a conversation with you. Their prices are pretty affordable too even with recent price hikes. Developing is super quick as well; an amazing one stop shop for buying new film and dropping off rolls for processing. Of course they sell tons of other camera equipment and accessories, film and digital. If you live in OC or are passing by I highly recommend it!

I brought in several old studio photos of my kids about a month ago to be digitized, because the studio no longer had the digital files. I picked the place based on the reviews. The resulting copies were really bad. The contact person, I believe named John, raved up and down about how good the technician was and how good the prints were. Not having experience with this I took him at his word. On a hunch, I had another studio digitize them and the results were fantastic. I asked for a refund and never heard back from them. Really disappointing experience for about $300. I have absolutely no idea why the place has good reviews - that was not my experience. Word to the wise.
